Monday, Monday....
I love Sundays but Mondays are our most tired day in the week. Being a ministry couple is wonderful but quite exhausting too. So, we should try to take Monday slower. Instead it invariably is packed with bible studies, follow ups and of course grocery shopping, laundry, sheet changing etc. Are you tired just listening? It really makes Monday night the best night of sleep though.... I was thinking today how thankful I am for where we are and the work we get to do together. Three yrs ago we were looking for our church to work with and I longed to just be this tired from doing what is needed. Thank you God.

Frayed nerves
Well, my son tells me he couldn't read that last post, which was my first post so I am not off to a good start here. ha. What a day. Ever begin a project sweat it out for days and then throw in the towel only to feel so relieved you ask yourself why you didn't do it sooner. That's how I feel tonight. Tried to follow a German dress pattern and sew cheap "fraying" material. The pieces just kept getting smaller as the fabric frayed away in front of me. Stress headache is putting it mildly. Anyway, good news is I have a plan and a new pattern but what a waste of a week of intermittant work. It's worth it for my niece's formal. I shall triumph. But it has made me feel very humble. ....sigh.

LEARNING CURVE
So this is truly a learning curve. I just started this so i could make a two word comment on Ian's new blog. We'll see. Just been to a funeral of a forty yr old woman who leaves behind four kids under 14 and a devastated husband. If that husband knew ten days ago that he would soon be alone, how would his life be different. Truth is, today might be my last day with Bobby. Am i treasuring him and my time with him like it might be my last????
